Nobutseriously.  Say what you will about canyons and rain forests and glaciers; these are my ideas of stunning natural vistas.

    • Yes, Wyoming’s usually a “through” state, as us Wyomingites say–you go through to get to Yellowstone or to the opposite coast and never really spare it a passing glance. Which, if you’re traveling, I can’t really blame you–the highway’s just a barren expanse of sagebrush and tumbleweeds and barren rolling hills. But when you seek out these lovely little natural alcoves like in the mountains…it’s vast, and expansive, and really beautiful 🙂

  1. Wow, what gorgeous pictures!! I would love to visit a place like that; it looks so peaceful and beautiful. Canyons, glaciers, and rain forests are amazing as well, of course:) But this place is just as magnificent!

    • Thanks! Though it’s not hard to take pretty pictures when everything around you is this…pretty. 🙂 Those other natural wonders are indeed cool as well, but I must confess a bias toward wilderness like this. 🙂 And so much history! I love combing the ground for flint arrowheads and visiting the old dude ranches.

What say you?
